International projects are getting closer to the end

Two final meetings of projects run currently by Diocesan Caritas Ostrava-Opava took place in recent weeks. Representatives of DCOO first headed for woods in Sweden and then to lovely Paris.

First partners of project Young and Adults for Better Life (Grundtvig Partnership) set out for Sweden where they took part in local international dance festival organised by Swedish partner organization. Partners dressed in traditional national costumes took part in a parade along the village and then actively participated in the festival. Portuguese team prepared a short presentation of their national dances and songs. Later all partners performed together one of project’s final outcomes – a song on the topic of generation gap. The coordinator of the project also presented the project’s aims and successful outcomes that partners together created during the two years lifetime of the project.

Last meeting of Step project took place in beautiful Paris. Since it was the last project meeting it was also connected with a dissemination event. The meeting and the event took place in “Maison de la Nouvelle Caledonie”. Diocesan Caritas Ostrava-Opava was represented by three persons including a director, Mr. Lukas Curylo.

During both meetings partners intensively discussed about potential future cooperation within new international projects. Let’s hope that our common visions will be able to be implemented and employees of DCOO will have opportunity to get inspiration from abroad for their future work.
