Social Counseling

Mission:

Nature of the mission is to provide basic social counseling, i.e. necessary information, assistance and support persons in adverse social situations so that they can integrate back into normal society.


Objective:

The aim is to enable users to address the adverse social situation through a free, impartial, independent and discrete expert advice.

What services we do not provide:

  • material or financial assistance
  • calculation of social benefits (in this area only advice)
  • Tax advice
  • advice in commercial matters
  • babysitting

Under what conditions can we refuse to provide services?

  • If we do not offer social service you are applying for (in this case, the clinic staff will tell you the information about other organizations that can help you).
  • If we do not have sufficient capacity to provide services, ie. the social worker deals with another client (employee will order you at the earliest available date). 

Another situation where we do not provide services:

  • client  is under the influence of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (including alcohol)
  • client’s behavior endangers others present (threatening, aggressive behavior)
  • client is committing crimes or harming foreign affairs
  • clients who repeatedly refuse to participate in solving their situation and thereby abandoning responsibility for social worker
